Bonus eBay Find of the Day: Franco Albini Rattan Stool

Created in 1951 by famed Italian designer Franco Albini, who trained under the legendary Gio Ponti and went on to do work for Knoll, this minty rattan footstool combines modern form with traditional craftsmanship and simple, natural materials. It measures 26 inches wide by 18 inches tall.

Here's one lolling casually in designer David Netto's Richard Neutra house in L.A. How would you use yours? It could be an ottoman, extra seating, even a coffee or side table stacked with art books and topped with a tray to hold your coffee mug.

Current bid: $99 (and just so you know, comparable Albini stools go for upwards of $700 from high-end dealers and on 1stDibs)
